As a third generation Central New Yorker, I’ve seen this area go through many changes. One constant, though, is that no matter what’s going on in the world, Cortland, and the surrounding communities, continue to thrive in commerce, education, culture, agriculture, and more. From the wineries to the apple orchards, the family farms to the top rate educational facilities, Central New York is a fantastic place to call home. My husband and I have raised our own daughter here, and hope to, one day, enjoy watching our grandchildren grow here as well.
When I was younger, I worked in a variety of fields including retail and customer service, living and working in Florida, Massachusetts, and North Carolina. As an adult, I pursued my college career right here in the Cortland area. I graduated from Tompkins Cortland Community College in 2003 with an Associates Degree in Social Science, from Cortland State in 2005 with a Bachelors in Sociology, and also took a variety of graduate courses at The Maxwell School of Syracuse University. I began teaching sociology courses at Tompkins Cortland Community College in 2005, and also coordinated the Career and College Connection for the Cortland Youth Bureau. I’ve found that nothing is more fulfilling than helping people achieve their dreams, which is what ultimately led me to pursue a career in real estate. As with anything else I put my mind to, I approach the real estate business with dedication and enthusiasm, under the expert guidance of Jim Yaman. Let me help you find the home you’ve been searching for, or find a buyer who is looking for a home just like yours. Together, we can make your dreams a reality.
